Your Money Matters - London

Your Money Matters will offer advice and guidance on all sorts of financial matters, including coping with and clearing debt, repaying loans, renting or buying accommodation, higher education, or simply how to reorganise your finances.

Tickets to Your Money Matters are free and there are seminars and workshops from experts including Jasmine Birtles (regular finance expert on GMTV, This Morning and Watchdog), Martin Roberts (BBC’s Under the Hammer), Cesarina Holm-Kander (Channel 4’s Your Money or Your Wife) and Donna Bradshaw (finance commentator for Sky News, BBC, ITN News and Channel 5 News).

Science Careers Fair - London

The Science Careers Fair, organised by the Careers Advisory Service, is sector specific to help draw the attention of the opportunities available to Imperial students within the science industry.

All year groups of students from the Faculties of Natural Science are encouraged to attend the event from first years to PhDs.

Work Experience Fair - Leicester

The aim of the event is to encourage our students to focus on developing their employability skills through part-time, voluntary or paid project work, in the UK or abroad, by bringing them into direct contact with potential employers offering work experience opportunities.

Companies and organisations with commercial opportunities and enterprise projects will attend, exhibiting different opportunities - gap years, industrial placements, part-time work, summer work or paid project work, either permanent or temporary.

There will also be an opportunity for companies or organisations to deliver general workshops on the benefits of work experience and gaining employability skills during the week of the Fair.
