Summer in the Limelight - Liverpool

Summer in the Limelight 2008 is a recruitment event in Liverpool for undergraduates looking to secure employment, an internship, a placement or work experience for the forthcoming summer period.

The aim of this event is to provide students with an opportunity to make contact and network with representatives from a range of companies who are able to offer opportunities for the summer in an informal environment.

Solent Careers & Job Fair - Southampton

This event will provide students with the opportunity to meet local, national and international employers. Students will get information on graduate vacancies, the employer's view on application procedures and guidance on vital employability skills.

In addition to the exhibitor stands there will also be a series of careers and employer related presentations scheduled throughout the day.

The future of global politics: Challenges, opportunities and threats

We live in a rapidly changing world. Globalisation, the War on Terror, the rise of powers like China and India, and attempts at democratic change in various countries are obvious themes which are shaping the world around us. During this year, events such as the US Presidential election and the Beijing Olympic Games will put such issues into the spotlight.

This G2G event aims to provide a robust discussion and debate about many of these issues.

Students of all years and disciplines are encouraged to attend, with particular emphasis placed on finalists still seeking employment after graduation.

Careers Recruitment Day - Birmingham

The Careers Recruitment Day for full-time jobs gives students and graduates the chance to meet, learn about and impress a range of employers.
