About Orange
Part of the innovative France Telecom Group, Orange is now a truly international brand bringing cutting-edge but easy-to-use new services to consumers on five continents. So, whatever part of our business you join, the challenges will be bigger, the changes will be faster and your influence will be wider. But you’ll still enjoy the same friendly, refreshingly straightforward personality that makes us Orange. Do you want to use your head and build a serious career? Or would you rather follow your heart to a rewarding job? There’s only one company that offers you both.

Our IT & Networks graduate programme
Our two-year technical graduate programme (based in Bristol) is unlike any other. Instead of watching things happen from a distance, you’ll go into areas where there’s a job to do and take on real responsibility. Your experience across a range of teams, combined with structured training, a customised development plan and bags of support, means there’s no limit to how far you can go with us. And, now we’re part of the France Telecom Group, we’ve more scope than ever before to get your career off to a great start in an environment you’ll love.

How it works
Your time on the programme is usually made up of a number of three and six month placements. Each placement comes with clear objectives, and you and your line manager will monitor your success, which will be reflected in no less than three salary reviews while you’re on the programme. As well as focusing on important personal skills such as self-awareness and individual behavioural skills, you’ll develop a whole host of other skills such as project management, technological expertise and commercial insight, getting you ready and able to grab the permanent job you want with Orange.

What you’ll need to join
We expect a lot from our graduates – an enquiring mind, adaptability and a decidedly forward-thinking attitude to life, for starters. And this:

• a valid work permit
• a 2:2 or above in an IT or business-related degree

What you’ll get
We’ve put together a rewards package that adds up to a little more of everything. Get more in your pocket with a competitive salary of £22,500, company-wide bonus scheme and share scheme. Get more peace of mind with our contributory pension, healthcare and life assurance. And get more out of life with 25 holiday days, and a range of handy discounts and vouchers. You’ll also get a hefty annual allowance for additional personal training and help towards any relevant professional qualifications. Oh, and don’t forget the free phone. Everyone likes a free phone.

When’s the closing date?
We need to receive your application by 16th April 2008. So, if you’ve not already thrown your hat into the ring, you’d better get moving.
