Logica is a major international force in IT and business services. It provides business consulting, systems integration and IT and business process outsourcing across diverse markets including telecoms and media, financial services, energy and utilities, industry, distribution and transport and the public sector.

Our Requirements

We look for graduates (2:2 or above) with a strong background in information technology - including software development skills - combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills and an appreciation of the importance of customer service within a business environment.

The nature of the work on the graduate scheme is continuing to evolve so please check our website for up to date information on current graduate opportunities.

Your Career

Successful graduate applicants will be placed into one of our market facing businesses and may be involved at any stage of the business lifecycle from business consultancy through system design and development, implementation and integration, testing and support to training, applications management and service operation.

We have a number of ‘vertical’ businesses serving specific market sectors and two ‘horizontal’ businesses which work across all of our vertical market sectors providing a range of IT and business solutions to meet individual client requirements. Please visit our website for more details of each business and the customers they serve.

Within the vertical market sectors, project culture is an intrinsic part of life. Our internal job market enables you to work in different areas as your career progresses. In the early stages, you are likely to be involved in technical areas such as systems analysis, programming, testing and support; as your career develops you will have the opportunity to drive your own career; balancing your aspirations and our business needs.

Within the horizontal businesses a combination of different contract based work and fixed roles exist. These many varied roles have different development routes with good progression prospects for those who make a difference.

Personal Development

Development is supported throughout your career with Logica, to meet the needs of the business and yourself. All staff are assigned a staff manager who is responsible for setting your objectives with you and regularly reviewing your performance. Objectives are designed to help you deliver against business requirements whilst developing your skills. Your staff manager is independent of your project work and, as such, is able to produce longer term career guidance. This will include your own individual training plan to meet your personal aspirations and can involve a range of technical, personal and Logica specific programmes.

Application Process

Applications should be made on-line at www.logica.com/ukgraduates.
