Our requirements

We employ professional, highly capable staff with an excellent reputation for producing quality solutions to complex problems using state-of-the-art technologies. They work in a number of sectors including Telecoms, Broadcast, Government, Defence, Transport and Finance.

We need the type of tenacious and creative individual who can solve difficult technical problems while at the same time being able to communicate and interact with others. Most of our graduates have a good honours degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or the physical sciences, but we welcome applicants from any other numerate discipline who can show the necessary interest and enthusiasm for computing.

Your development

IPL promotes from within. Most of our recruitment is at the lower experience levels, from which staff develop into highly competent software engineers. Opportunities exist to move into business and technical consultancy, project management and business development. On joining IPL, graduates attend an intensive induction course prior to being assigned to project teams. Each employee’s skills are subsequently developed by supervised, on-the-job experience and further training.
