Training

As a graduate trainee at haysmacintyre you will be an integral part of one of the UK’s top 30 firms of chartered accountants.

Our graduate-training programme runs over three years and includes the following key elements:

• first-class work experience 
•  professional study support
• personal skills development.

First-class work experience

The majority of our training will be within the Audit Division where you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients in a variety of sectors that include large commercial enterprises, family-owned businesses and organisations in the not-for-profit sector.

Whichever client you are working on, you will gain the first-hand knowledge of accountancy and audit work to provide you with the right foundations for your future career.

Professional study support

This includes a combination of professional tuition at our external training firm, internal technical training sessions and the support of your training department where your training is closely monitored. We believe it is important to choose the right study route for you. We are able to offer two routes to ACA qualification: linked study route and split intensive route.

Personal skills development

In addition to your professional training, you will attend various courses to develop your personal skills in areas such as IT, communication, negotiation and presentation, giving you the ability to develop your career.

Who are you?

You will have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in any discipline with 300 UCAS tariff points or 24 UCAS points. You will be confident, with drive and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
