In schools? As part of government energy policy? On the frontline? There’s no limit to where your ideas can end up when you’re on the Science and Engineering Fast Stream.

What is the Science and Engineering Fast Stream? It’s an accelerated Civil Service training and development programme aimed at people with degrees in science, engineering, mathematics, computing or other numerate disciplines.

As a Fast Streamer, there are a range of areas and departments you could be working with. You might be based in the Ministry of Defence, operating at the forefront of research and development. Or you could be tackling a huge range of issues in either the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) or the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR).

Throughout your career, you’ll be leading, innovating and making key decisions. And you work will have a visible impact on life in the UK and beyond.
