Our graduate programme

On our dedicated, three-year private-banking programme you will be equipped with all the skills to enable you to help us grow our private-banking business for the future.

When you join the firm you will attend the Initial Training Programme (ITP) which is an eight-week intensive induction programme that will get you up to speed as quickly as possible.

After this you will join your private-banking team and start to put the skills you have acquired on the ITP into practice. You will be in direct contact with clients from early on and will have the chance to gain valuable international experience during an overseas placement.

Your development doesn’t stop after the ITP though. During your first three years, the firm sponsors you to undertake the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA™) qualification and we also have an active alumni network that regularly organises speakers to present to the graduate community.

What we’re looking for

You don’t have to be studying finance at university for us to consider you. In fact, only about half of the graduates who join the firm have a finance or economics degree. We’re looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for the financial-services industry and a sharp, analytical mind. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills and speaking more than one language is also beneficial.
