INTERNSHIPS

As an intern you will participate in our interns@swissre programme. During the programme you will be assigned to a line manager and his or her team, where you will take on tasks and work on projects straight away. You will have the opportunity to participate in activities that will also expose you to other business units and groups. The network events that are organized for our graduates@swissre will be open to you as well and you will get to experience Swiss Re’s culture while interacting with senior executives at other business and social events.

At the end of your internship term, your internship manager together with Human Resources will review your performance and a successful internship will lead to an offer to participate in the one-day assessment centre for full-time graduates@swissre positions for the following year.

Swiss Re offers student’s internship positions in the following business functions: Client Markets, Products, Financial Services, Risk Management, Finance, Risk Controlling and other selected Operations units.

Application timelines differ by region. When applying for an internship position, please be sure that you have a current and valid work permit for the region/country in question. The recruiting process consists of two interviews (one of them competency-based) with your future internship manager and an HR consultant.

Requirements

We are looking for students attending an institute of higher education and offer internship positions to students from all disciplines in their 3rd year (6th semester) and onwards.
