Graduates Programme

graduates@swissre is our international graduate programme, which offers exceptional training for your chosen career path. The 18 month programme combines general business learning modules and specific technical modules offering a unique and well rounded curriculum including analytical, communication and leadership skills development linked to Swiss Re’s corporate principles and strategy. There are two main training paths available. Path 1 involves roles linked to products, client markets and risk management, giving a sound understanding of the underlying business and including work in Property and Casualty or Life and Health. Path 2 is a finance path with training geared to roles in Asset Management, Credit Solutions, Capital Management and Advisory and Finance.

Requirements

We are looking for graduates and postgraduates from any discipline, who must be qualified on the basis of excellent academic performance, international experience, and extra-curricular activities. You must be able to demonstrate intellectual capacity, the ability to deal with complexity and work under pressure, the ability not only to exercise leadership but also to work as a member of a team, language skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Location

Location depends on regional needs and requirements. Depending on your nationality and the work permit you hold, you will be assigned to a regional office in the US, Asia Pacific or Europe.
