Technology Centre
Christos Georgakis, Senior Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer, Aero and Thermodynamics Department, Alstom Power Technology Centre
Christos Georgakis joined the Alstom Technology Centre in September 2004, on the Graduate Programme.
Christos said: “The graduate programme offered me the opportunity to continue my professional development as an engineer. I worked in a variety of technical jobs improving communication and team–working skills and improved my confidence to deliver tasks on time. I also benefited from working alongside experienced technical members of the group.”
After completing the programme in 2005, Christos took the position of Engineer, Aero and Thermodynamics, within the Technology Centre, where he was involved in a broad range of projects covering gas turbine technology and gained experience in the field of aerodynamics, combustion and heat transfer.
He has since progressed to his current role as Senior Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer, within the Aero and Thermodynamics Department.
