Steam Turbine Retrofits

Simon Glover joined Alstom a sponsored student as part of a sandwich degree course at Imperial College. Moving through the initial engineering training and then on to the graduate development scheme, he gained experience in a number of both technical and commercial activities (achieving Chartered status in the process) before becoming Head of one of the Engineering groups at the age of 30. After three years in this post he then moved in to Tendering, now managing the department, which requires an exciting variety of technical, commercial and leadership skills.
