Deadline
We recruit all year round.
At Accenture we want you to develop quickly, and we’ll provide the support to help you get there. Consulting is one of the most stimulating and rewarding careers you can have, but like anything really worth doing, you have to learn the ropes.
Throughout your career, you’ll be encouraged to broaden and deepen your knowledge. To work with Accenture is to lock into permanent learning mode, precisely because our ability to deliver client value depends entirely on what you can learn.
Throughout your career, you’ll be encouraged to broaden and deepen your knowledge. Most graduates follow the graduate training programme*, which kicks off with three weeks in London. As well as a general induction, you’ll receive intensive technical skills training that covers both programming and Accenture development methodologies. Shortly after, you’ll go to our training centre in Chicago for a fortnight to complete a core consulting skills course with analysts from around the world.
Before you start on your first live assignment, you’ll receive training that relates to the team and project you will be joining. Depending on the nature of the work involved this could be industry, skills or specific technology tools training.
From now on, your development is continuous and intense. At some point during the first year, you may be seconded to specific training that will equip you with extra skills for a particular project. The timing and nature of this depend on client demands.
We want you to develop quickly, and we’ll provide you with the support to help you get there. It would be difficult not to develop in an environment where you’re surrounded by talented colleagues and working with leadingedge clients. Our online personal development tools make learning even more accessible. As your career unfolds, ‘self-directed learning’ will help you take increasing control of your development so you are better able to choose where you want to focus your career.
*NB Graduates joining Strategy follow a slightly different induction. For information see our website.
