Graduate opportunities

The Jameson graduate programme offers graduate jobs with excellent career opportunities on an annual basis. The programme, which has been in existence for over 20 years, has been a successful launch pad formany current employees both in Irish Distillers and throughout the global network of Pernod Ricard. Over the years there have beenmore than 165 graduates, withmore than 50 per cent continuing to work in the Irish Distillers/Pernod Ricard network after their year abroad.

The role of a Jameson graduate is to contribute towards the continued growth of Jameson in specific countries worldwide. Graduates work in conjunction with local sales andmarketing teams in sister companies as well as the central teams based in Dublin. They work in support of the planning, implementation and evaluation of Jameson brand development activity in the respectivemarkets.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate will be a creative, highly enthusiastic, outgoing personality, a self-starter andmust be able to demonstrate this through their experiences to date. It is essential that all candidates are independent, self-motivated and can work on their own initiative as they will be required to travel, work and live in a given international market for the duration of the one-year contract.

All roles will require a full, clean driving licence. Languages will be essential for certain roles. All roles will be based outside of Ireland, following an initial training period in IDL head office in Dublin.

Suitable candidates will have a third-level qualification in a relevent discipline, together with an extremely strong desire and passion for brandmarketing and sales. Previous direct experience in sales,marketing or promotional work will be a distinct advantage, as would a second language.
