Your role will be to produce calculations, reports and presentations for our clients on: design for major offshore projects, including deepwater fields for Contractors development and testing of products for Manufacturers research into new technologies for Operators, including joint industry projects The work is office based in Tonbridge with occasional travel within UK and abroad. If you have the aptitude, there are opportunities in computational analysis (FEA and CFD), in presenting training courses, and in software development.

Education and Qualifications

Essential (will lead to rejection if not present)

2.1 Masters degree in mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, civil engineering, naval architecture or aeronautics from the following universities: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Bath, Bristol, Brunel, Cambridge, Durham, Imperial, Kingston, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Loughborough, Manchester, Nottingham, Oxford, Sheffield, Southampton, Surrey, UCL or York. A level Mathematics at Grade A Right to work in UK Desirable

Relevant higher degree, First class degree, Experience in the oil industry, Experience in an office.

Technical Skills

Essential

Maths: algebra, calculus and spreadsheets English: able to write clearly with correct grammar and syntax Desirable

Experience with MS Office, analysis, planning, drawing, networks Touch type Hold a full, clean driving license

Graduate Engineer role

You will work producing calculations, reports and presentations on: design for major offshore projects, including the deepwater fields for contractors development and testing of products for manufacturers research into new technologies for operators, including joint industry projects You will also be given increasing levels of project responsibility, depending on performance, and will develop customer facing roles.

You will work in small teams, learning from the experienced engineers. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the project from identifying the opportunity to presenting the conclusions to the client.

The work is office-based in Aberdeen with occasional travel within UK and abroad. If you have the aptitude, there are opportunities in computational analysis (FEA and CFD), in presenting training courses and in software development.
