Your Role With Us

Our Graduates have enormous scope to ’get stuck in’. You won’t be expected to sit on the sidelines while others do the real work - you will instead have the opportunity to play a meaningful part in delivering offshore projects, whether from an engineering or commercial perspective.

During the two-year development programme, you will see the development of projects with offshore experience, whenever possible.

We have opportunities for Graduates in the following areas:

UK Business Unit - Graduate Project Engineers (Engineering qualification) and Graduate Contracts Engineers (Quantity Surveying/Law and Management qualification).

Offshore Engineering Division - Graduate Engineers to work on research and development support for global subsea development projects. Departments include rigid pipelines, structural and equipment engineering, welding and materials and geotechnics.

Offshore Operations Services - Graduate Engineers to be placed within Remote Systems Unit or Management of Technical Assets. There are also opportunities for those interested in an offshore career to complete a programme which will lead to a position as Barge Engineer, Bridge Supervisor or Operations Engineer.

Development Opportunities

We offer a comprehensive programme of learning and development. Technical and product awareness, foreign language training and professional skills courses are available to assist your progression. The Graduate Development Programme is accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and Graduate Engineers will be mentored as they work towards Chartered status.

Our Expectations

We look for dynamic Graduates with a thirst for achieving results. We place a strong focus on teamwork, and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels is essential

Rewards include

  • Competitive salary (increments at 6, 12 and 18 months and ’golden hello’ payment at three months’ service)
  • Generous working allowance
