You will further develop your personal skills in such areas as communication, problem solving and making decision while working on project both individually and as part of a team. Relevant training will also be available.

IT Placement – 12 months

Based within the IT department, this role will involve such tasks as:

* Directing and co-ordinating the investigation, specifications, design, testing and introduction of Information Systems and Procedures to meet agreed business needs
* Providing applications support for production systems
* Promoting agreed IT and business initiatives to ensure common practices across the business
* Assisting in all aspects of development and maintenance of existing systems
* Project work

The role provides excellent experience of working in a large multi-national organisation, while also providing a valuable insight into a IT environmen. You will develop your personal skills in such areas as communication, problem solving and making decision while working on project both individually and as part of a team. Relevant training will also be available. You may be expected to travel nationally and internationally.

Purchasing Placement – 12 months

Based within the Purchasing department the position mainly involves working within supplier chain. Some of the daily tasks may involve:

* Carry out benchmarking, analyses and supporting the formulation of recommendations
* Supplier selection, and or re-sourcing
* General negotiations with suppliers
* Investigate and analyse current transport areas such as home delivery, bulk shipment to retailers.
* Project work

The role provides excellent experience of working in a large multi-national organisation, while also providing a valuable insight into a purchasing environment as well as logistics, production, reaserch and development, etc. You will develop your personal skills in such areas as communication, problem solving and making decision while working on project both individually and as part of a team. Relevant training will also be available. You may be expected to travel nationally and internationally.

Commercial Placement – 12 months

Based within the Commercial department the position mainly focuses on offering support to the National Account Managers. Some of the daily tasks may involve:

Some of the daily tasks that you will perform include:

* Performing research on the market, prices and competitors
* Sourcing and providing product information
* Liaising with Brand and Product Managers
* Communicating with a number of retailers

The role provides excellent experience of working in a large multi-national organisation, while also providing a valuable insight into a commercial environment. You will gain understanding of such commercial aspects as managing relationships with retailers, the order process, mass merchendisers, etc. You will further develop your personal skills in such areas as communication, problem solving and making decision while working on project both individually and as part of a team. Relevant training will also be available.

Salary and other benefits

* £12,000 pro rata paid weekly
* 25 days holiday
* Profit share (on pro-rata basis)
