VT is a major support services company that delivers complex projects and services to governments and large organisations around the world. We provide engineering, training and education-based services to the military, airlines, broadcasters and schools.

Why join VT?

Our scheme is rotational which means you have the fantastic opportunity to do placements in a number of different companies within the Group, giving you a varied and challenging experience.

Placements normally last six months (management) or 12months (finance) and every graduate’s experience will be different. You can be sure that the placements will be real jobs that come with responsibility.

We don’t recruit you into a specific role so we actively encourage all our graduates to get as much experience as possible across the diverse business network, to help you identify what future career you want to follow and which business you’d like to work in.

Development

Each year the intake of new graduate employees will undertake a three-day induction tour together before starting in placements. Within a few weeks of starting you will all attend a week long personal development week with a partner company which will help establish your strengths and development areas – as well as being a huge amount of fun!

Throughout the scheme you will attend various development workshops to help you develop the skills, competencies and behaviours valued and required in our future leaders. In addition finance graduates will follow either the ACCA or CIMA qualification while management graduates will choose a discipline (for example project management, purchasing and supply chain, HR, business development) and will undertake the appropriate training for their desired role.

Benefits

On top of a competitive salary you will receive:

  • a full study support package
  • a two to three year development programme
  • travel subsistence/accommodation assistance as appropriate
  • mobile phone
  • laptop
  • contributory pension
  • flexible benefits scheme
  • 25 days’ holiday.
