Hi Richard, what qualities do you think someone would need to join the Enterprise team?

Well, the people that work here come from all sorts of backgrounds. But, I suppose the thing that we’ve all got in common is ambition and the confidence to use our own initiative. It can be awfully busy at times too, so the ability to work under pressure is kind of essential. To be honest though, that’s one of the things I like most about this job. Because when it all goes right, the sense of accomplishment is that much sweeter.

Sure, working for such a customer-focused organisation can be a challenge, but it’s one I relish. And when you’ve got a great team behind you, anything is possible. I mean look at me. I’ve been here a short period of time and I’m already the Assistant Manager of one of the largest branches in Scotland. I don’t think I would have got to where I am today without the support of my colleagues. They’re a fantastic bunch and I really do love it here.

In fact, I can’t imagine working anywhere else. I’d miss the people, not to mention the development opportunities. I really do believe in everything that this company stands for and given half the chance, I’d love to help us break into new international markets.
