GETHobsons - CMS Cameron McKennaCMS Cameron McKenna LLP is a leading International Law Firm and an integral part of CMS, the alliance of Major European law firms. We’ve earned a reputation for outstanding service, acute business awareness, and for being passionate about client relationships.

Our requirements

In order to apply for a Training Contract you should be a good communicator and a committed team player. You will need to have achieved 320 UCAS points (or equivalent) and a 2:1 degree. If you are a non-law student, you can apply at any time in your final year. If you are a law student, you should apply after your penultimate year results.

Your Development

As soon as you join us, we will devise your personal development plan with you. This will be your blueprint for your career progression with us. And we’ll ensure the right support programmes are in place to enable you to perform effectively against that plan. You will be appraised every three months, so you’ll always know exactly how you’re progressing. And you will be encouraged to have an open dialogue with our graduate recruitment team, raising issues with them and discussing any problems.

Application Details

To apply you will need to complete an on-line application form and verbal reasoning test at first stage, found at www.law-now.com/gradrec.

The selection process at second stage consists of an interview and presentation to a member of HR plus an analysis exercise. If candidates are successful they will then complete a final stage consisting of a group exercise and partner interview that same afternoon. Candidates will then be offered at this stage. Following this candidates will be invited in for lunch with partners and trainees.

Opportunities and Benefits

You will have the opportunity to spend 6 months in one of our other UK or overseas offices or on a client secondment. Employee benefits include an annual bonus scheme, bounty scheme, dental insurance discount, concierge service, Life assurance, employee confidential careline, 25 days annual leave & flexible holiday allowance, gym subsidy, pension scheme, Private medical insurance and Study assistance.
