Civil Service Faststream

Summer Placement Scheme, 2009

The scheme is a 6 to 9-week work placement that runs across July and August 2009. It is open to undergraduates and graduates who are disabled.

The scheme offers an introduction to the varied challenges across the UK Civil Service. Trainees receive a salary and gain the skills and experience that will enable them to consider the Civil Service Fast Stream graduate programme (an accelerated development programme aimed at people who have the potential to become the Civil Service leaders of tomorrow).

Applicants must have a minimum of an expected (or awarded) 2:2 degree in any discipline. The application period is from 3 November 2008 to 5 January 2009.

The 2009 Fast Stream Summer Placement Scheme is supported by Scope, the national disability organisation whose focus is people with cerebral palsy. Scope’s mission is to drive the change to make our society the first where disabled people achieve equality. Visit www.scope.org.uk
