Our requirements

If you are a highly driven individual with good analytical, communication and organisational skills we would like to hear from you. Commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues are essential and foreign language skills are an advantage.

Your development

Our focus at Osborne Clarke is on developing a high performance culture and our aim is to develop trainees into legal business advisers. The Osborne Clarke trainee development programme offers legal, management and business skills training to develop the professional skills needed to progress as a lawyer in the firm.

The training contract is made up of four seats, each lasting six months in four different practice areas. Three of these seats are usually corporate, property and litigation. Trainees work closely with their training supervisors and fee earners in the department and can expect a high level of responsibility and client contact at an early stage in their training contract. Regular reviews and coaching sessions are held to ensure that trainees are reaching their potential. There are also opportunities for trainees to spend a seat in one of the firm’s other offices including Germany or on a client secondment.
