The Elevator Graduate Development Programme
Graduates can reach the top at Hilton via our award winning, fast track graduate development “Elevator” programme.
At the 2005 Worldwide Hospitality Awards the Elevator Programme beat strong competition to win the award for “Best Development Programme for Young Employees”.
The programme was praised for its commitment to continual development and for attracting top talent to Hilton as well as the Hospitality Industry as a whole.

The aim of the programme is to develop and prepare a group of talented, internationally mobile people who have the potential and drive to be a General Manager of a Hilton property within 5-8 years of starting the programme.
The programme consists of an initial 18 month training in which you will complete two or more international placements combining operational, all-round experience with off-the-job training and business driven projects. After completion of the initial training, we will continue to invest in your development and monitor your career progression to ensure you will reach your full potential.
There are three main criteria to apply for the Elevator programme:
- You must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- You must speak, read and write English and one other European language fluently including Russian and Turkish.
- You must be internationally mobile
