Our INS1GHT Days are a great way to find out more about the options available to you at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. You’ll spend a day in one of our offices across the UK, discovering what we do, how, why and where we do it, and who we do it for. We’ll explain the various directions a career with PwC can take you – and how far you could go – and you’ll have every opportunity to ask our people questions face to face and get a better grasp of our business.

Perfect for first-year undergraduates, INS1GHT Academy is packed with business awareness sessions, development workshops focused on helping you hone your employability skills, coaching from business ambassadors, and recruitment tips and techniques. You’ll also work in a team to tackle a topical business project and the week-long course will culminate with project presentations to the business. The goal is to boost your employability. And not only will you come away with loads more knowledge, ability and confidence, you could also secure a place on our INS1GHT Internship or INS1GHT Business Placement schemes.

Our INS1GHT internship programmes provide high-calibre, penultimate-year undergraduates with an opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, offering a valuable insight into our business and culture. As well as soaking up complex business information, you’ll boost your commercial awareness, your interpersonal skills and your self-confidence. You’ll also find out first hand if we’re the right firm for you. If we are, and you perform well, you’re likely to receive a firm job offer before you go back to university.

Superior language skills, heightened cultural awareness, international exposure – in a global firm like ours they’re invaluable. The INS1GHT International Internship helps penultimate-year undergraduates develop the skills we need in our future talent. You’ll spend four weeks in one of our UK offices before heading off for another three-week placement overseas. The options – ranging from Australia to the US to Germany – are many. The experience will boost your appreciation of how different markets operate, your ability to add value to a multi-cultural team and your self-reliance. And it could also lead to a firm job offer.

If your degree course has a sandwich element to it, a six-month or 11-month INS1GHT Business Placement at PwC is the perfect way to gain valuable industry experience during your penultimate year at university. It's also a great opportunity to find out if this could be the career for you. You will be working alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on everyday projects, so you can expect to gain a proper insight into working life at PwC. We can offer a limited number of placement opportunities in Assurance and Tax.

Requirements

We expect at least a 280 UCAS tariff or equivalent and for you to be on course for a 2:1 or above in any degree discipline.
