We also have a high representation of ACA accountants in the FTSE 100 companies, re-emphasising the integrity of our qualification.
Amazing Career Awaits
To qualify as a chartered accountant, students must complete a training contract with an authorised training organisation. There are approximately 2,200 ICAEW authorised training offices of all sizes and in all sectors throughout the world.
Around 85% of entrants to the profession are graduates. Training organisations will generally expect students entering by this route to have a proven academic track record, in addition to a degree from a recognised UK university. You don’t need to have studied Accountancy to become an ACA – in fact, only 5% of our trainees are Accountancy graduates.
By going to our website at www.icaew.com/careers you can find the latest edition of Training Vacancies. You’ll find details of hundreds of ACA training vacancies available at authorised training organisations in the UK and internationally. It lists details such as entry requirements, deadlines for application, and will allow you to search for vacancies by geographical area.
