“Flexibility” should be Wendy’s middle name since, during her decade with Innovex, she has relocated from the north of the country to the south, worked in part and full time sales, and made the transition from Sales to Clinical, where she started out as a Clinical Research Associate working in a customer managed role at P & U.

Wendy joined Innovex in 1992 shortly after leaving University. She began her Innovex career in a dedicated sales project as a Medical Sales Representative covering Liverpool. Within two years, she moved on a part-time basis to a syndicated sales team covering a number of customers and a year later was a full-time member of a syndicated sales force. In 1996, Wendy moved from sales to the clinical part of the business and keen to progress, sought additional responsibility wherever she could find it, moving from P & U to Roche, before joining the Project Support Group at Head Office. As a result, her additional management responsibilities played a large part in her successful completion of an Assessment Centre for Clinical Field Managers in 2000. Within the next four years, Wendy became a Clinical Training Manager, responsible for developing and refining the training given to Clinical Research Associates.

Wendy attributes her success at Innovex to her flexibility and willingness to adapt, but is the first to acknowledge that Innovex has been equally flexible over the years in meeting her personal and professional needs for change.
