Unique culture
The clients and projects are central to the quality of the work environment at Towers Perrin. This is a consultancy firm with a unique culture and way of working. There is a very supportive balance between working for a global company, with all of the resources and opportunities it offers, and the trust and respect generated from working in the very close-knit Change Implementation team.

Developing skills
Every member of the team is highly qualified and experienced in their own subject areas. There is so much to be learnt from everybody that it would be impossible not to develop your skills and knowledge at a very fast pace. I am stretched just the right amount to learn through experience without feeling overwhelmed by the demands of the job, and I know that I will learn a valuable lesson from every task.

Typical projects
In my latest project I was responsible for carrying out a change-readiness assessment within a global organisation and reporting my findings to the client. I had direct content with employees at all levels of the organisation and was able to really develop my knowledge of change theory and how you apply that in practice. I then helped to develop a change and communications plan, and have delivered each of the components of this – including implementing and developing content for a global webcast, an online newsletter and a toolkit to support line manager engagement, and the facilitation of various workshops to define roles and responsibilities with top team members.

My time with Towers Perrin has exceeded all expectations and I would definitely recommend it to any graduate who wants to work for a company where you are given the opportunity to make your mark from the outset.
