We are searching for a highly motivated person who can handle the pressures of working for our global office. Your responsibilities will include looking after up to 1000 staff and running a smooth ship, submarine or air station.
The role
As a Personnel Logistician you will take care of the human side of the Royal Navy. With anything between 30 and 1,000 people onboard a modern warship or submarine, efficient administration is integral. It is vital to both operations and morale that you handle issues such as pay, leave, discipline and welfare with speed and understanding. Your skills could help to keep an entire fleet in touch with their loved ones when you are engaged on the other side of the world. There is an array of training opportunities available, and a £5k ‘golden hello’ if you choose to work onboard a submarine*.*Please note that the Royal Submarine Service can only accept male applicants.
On the job
"As a Personnel Logistician I deal with all the paperwork, administration and pay. You’ve got to be switched on because there is a lot of thinking involved."
