RM is a company at the top of its game.  We are the UK’s leading provider of software systems, services and infrastructure to schools, colleges and universities.

As an organization, we are guided by a simple vision. To help teachers to teach and learners to learn.  To make this happen, we insist on two things; Using the best technology and encouraging and developing our people to become the very best at what they do.

Hobsons GET - RM

Looking at us now, it’s clear this has been a successful formula.  The scope of work today is huge.  Whether we’re developing award-winning hardware, life-enhancing software, or entire ICT strategies for local authorities, we’re at the forefront of every aspect of educational technology.

Development
Expect to enjoy real support from day one.  After an initial induction and personalized training programme, we’ll continue to support you through on-the-job training and mentoring as well as through specific technical training courses.  You’ll have the chance to receive a respected professional accreditation early on in your career.  You’ll also benefit from more general courses to develop your professional skills (such as presentation, time management and leadership).

Products & projects
Just as our innovation knows no bounds, our work touches all aspects of education. Here you can learn about some of RM’s award-winning products – as well as some of the exciting projects we’re involved in.

Building Schools for the Future is no ordinary initiative. With £2.2 billion committed in the first year alone, it represents the single biggest investment programme in education for over 50 years. By rebuilding or renewing every secondary school in England, it aims to transform the education landscape – and with it the life chances of millions of learners.

Not surprisingly, technology forms a major component of the new programme. Indeed, the vision of a new generation of schools with fully integrated ICT systems is at the very heart of this initiative.

As the UK’s leading provider in this area, RM is likely to play a major role in Building Schools for the Future. Though it’s still early days, we’ve already secured major contracts under the new programme. So you can be sure that by joining us, you’ll have the chance to really shape education

What we’re looking for?

Educational achievements are of course important. That’s why we’re looking for applicants with a minimum of a 2.1 degree and at least 260 UCAS points. But it’s your personal qualities, experience and aptitude we look at most closely. Things like problem-solving skills, your ability to work in a team, a real feel for what the customer wants and plenty of energy and enthusiasm.

Benefits
The benefits of joining us aren’t just material. As well as rich and rewarding work, there’s always something going on here in the evenings or at the weekends. Indeed, we pride ourselves on having an exceptionally varied calendar of sporting and social activities.

That said, our benefits are pretty attractive too.
