Reed was founded on May 7th 1960 when Alec Reed, then aged 26, opened the first Reed branch in Hounslow, West London. He started with just £75 and worked alone for a year. The Reed Graduate Training Scheme
Reed is currently recruiting high-calibre graduates to join our industry-leading Graduate Training Scheme (GTS). With an entrepreneurial approach to business, Reed has grown to become one of the UK’s most respected and well known companies in its industry.
Key to our success is the people who work for us and the GTS forms an integral part of our future strategy. In fact, the scheme has already produced two current Managing Directors in addition to a number of other Senior Managers.
The GTS aims to develop well-rounded individuals with knowledge that stretches across the whole of the recruitment and HR services industry. We achieve this by offering you three, one-year placements across our different businesses. You will start in a client-facing, operational role that will provide you with first-hand knowledge of the services Reed offers to clients. From there you’ll be given the opportunity to experience work in departments such as: finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, sales and many more.

What we are looking for
- The minimum academic entry requirements are a 2.2 degree in any subject and 300+ UCAS points from your best three ’A’ Level results or equivalent (excluding General Studies)
- To complement this you will also need to be commercially aware, a confident communicator and capable of working well in a team environment
- Reed operate primarily in the UK but we are now expanding internationally, we look for graduates to be geographically flexible wherever possible in order to offer them the widest range of opportunities.
