Top 100 graduate employers revealed
The Times has released its annual list of the UK's top 100 graduate employers.
Highest rankers have shifted slightly this year, but the all-important number one position has been held onto by accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for the fifth consecutive year.
Following shortly behind is Deloitte, which, despite seeing an increase in its voting percentage, still comes in second to its rival.
Professional services company KPMG rank third while technology firm Accenture and the NHS claim fourth and fifth place respectively.
A consistent riser has been supermarket chain Aldi, which offers graduates a £40,000 starting package, claiming eighth place in the chart.
However, the Co-operative Group climbed a notable 39 places in 2008, while lawyers DLA Piper rose by 21.
As for new entrants in this year's list, among them are broadcast company Sky, Innocent Drinks and energy group E.ON.
Organisations making a reappearance after falling off the charts last year include IT company Data Connection and the Ministry of Defence.
The newspaper also recently revealed its list of top UK companies to work for, with the aforementioned KPMG coming first under the big companies category.
