Fulfilling careers desired by workers
A career that is unique and differs from the conventional nine to five job is desired by many employees, according to two experts.
Director of the Vodafone Group Foundation, Andrew Dunnett, and Oscar nominated actress and charity supporter, Samantha Morton, have stated that many people are searching for fulfilling work.
'I think a lot of people do want to do something different but they feel they can't, because of what society requests from us really,' Ms Morton stated.
Commenting on Vodafone's World of Difference campaign, which allows four employees to work abroad for charities for a year, Mr Dunnett said that there are many people who lack the finances to take the time out for such opportunities.
According to the results of a Vodafone Group Foundation poll, only 63% of workers feel fulfilled in their current job and six million employees said get an extreme sense of dissatisfaction from their career.
