InterRail around Europe offers 'flexibility'
Travellers looking for an ideal place to explore have been told that buying an InterRail pass to travel around Europe provides flexibility and freedom.
A spokesperson for Rail Europe has claimed that travelling around the continent by train can mean students and graduates can be as 'spontaneous' as they want to be.
'You've got the flexibility to literally hop from country to country as you want to you have the freedom to travel when and where you like,' she said.
The spokesperson added that trains have certain advantages over flying.
'If you fly and you want to change your flight, you end up pretty much having to book a new one - particularly with low-cost airlines - or it's going to cost you a lot to make amendments to your flight,' she remarked.
She advised those planning to explore Europe via this method of travel to book well in advance to secure cheap deals.
Her comments follow the opening of London's St Pancras International in November, which provides rail links to Lille, Brussels and Paris.
