Interview technique is important, jobseekers told
Jobseekers must ensure they know how to conduct themselves in an interview, one expert has said.
Rhonda Lusty from recruitment firm Nigel Lynn has advised job candidates to avoid the blunders made by contestants on BBC One's The Apprentice last Wednesday.
Ms Lusty claimed 'a lot of mistakes' were made by the show's final five as they completed a gruelling round of interviews during the penultimate programme.
Candidates should stay true to their personality while allowing their talents to shine through and remaining professional at all times during a job interview, she said.
'Although you want to come across in a professional manner, its also important to be enthusiastic and show the interviewer that you have a personality that will fit in well with the team,' she remarked.
Meanwhile, it has been suggested by CV-Library that The Apprentice is responsible for an increase in the popularity of sales jobs.
