PwC looks for new talent
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has launched its 2008 graduate recruitment programme to reaffirm its status as the UK's top graduate employer.
The theme for this year is climate change and a focus on reducing carbon emissions, with the Carbon Gym a feature of this year's initiative.
New Head of Student Recruitment Sonja Stockton comments that she is delighted with her new role and that the firm is continuing its search this year for the cream of the UK crop.
'Through our skills seminars, open days or reception evenings, we want to continue to attract the highest quality and diversity of students in the UK,' she remarks.
She adds that the programme is aiming to bring a taste of PwC life onto campuses around the country.
PwC recently called for recruiters to look towards the future when choosing graduates for positions at their company.
Partner at PwC Michael Rendell said that firms must 'focus on what kind of organisation they want to be 15 years from now'.
