London to host science and engineering careers fair
The UK is set to host the biggest ever event for those interested in pursuing graduate careers in science and engineering.
The Big Bang Fair will take place at the QE11 Centre in central London from March 4th to 6th.
As well as exciting demonstrations and theatre shows, there will also be a variety of workshops covering subjects such as rapid prototyping, forensics and outer space.
On Thursday, the Science Museum Punk Science team will explore climate change.
Sir Anthony Cleaver, Chairman of the Engineering and Technology Board told The Daily Mirror: 'All the big issues we face like climate change waste recycling, energy, will need practical solutions from engineers. I think it's very important over time we get enough people and our better brains going into the area.'
The event will include a national science competition open to those between the ages of 13 and 19.
