Nottingham Trent University secures forensic partnership
Nottingham Trent University has announced that it has forged a deal with sector skills council Skills for Justice that could benefit future employers in the forensic industry.
Science experts from the learning body established the relationship to make sure the university's courses continue to provide top-quality graduates.
Programme Leader for the Forensic Science degree studies at the institution David Butler said that he was 'pleased' with the alliance.
He remarked: 'Our partnership will aim to work for the benefit of universities, their students and employers within the wider profession.'
Skills for Justice worked in collaboration with the Forensic Science Society to develop the Forensic Skillsmark - an approval stamp for qualifications.
The mark aims to guarantee that courses and educators are kept up-to-speed on the requirements of companies working in the forensic industry.
Nottingham Trent University recently received an award for its environmental awareness and sustainable amenities in the People and Planet Green League released by Times Higher Education.
