Accenture teams up with P&G
Graduate jobs provider Accenture has announced that it is teaming up with Procter & Gamble (P&G) for a multi-year technology infrastructure agreement.
Under the terms of the contract, the global managing consultancy will provide all of P&G's primary web platforms and services through its new business branch Accenture Interactive.
The new division has been set up to 'develop world-class digital marketing capabilities and optimise online/offline investments', with the product manufacturer being its 'anchor client'.
With support from the product manufacturer, Accenture Interactive has created a new cutting-edge solution, which analyses users' behaviour and preferences to boost consumer's online experiences.
Marta Foster, Vice-President of Business Building Solutions at P&G, said: 'We see digital as an opportunity for our brands to engage with consumers in new ways,' adding that the partnership will strengthen their existing relationship with Accenture.
Accenture has revealed that it will be host a conference call to discuss its full-year fiscal results for 2009 on October 1st.
