JP Morgan comments on becoming primary dealer
Graduate employer JP Morgan today expressed its pleasure at being admitted as a primary dealer to the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE).
A primary dealer takes part in auctions arranged by the National Treasury Management Agency and makes two-way markets in Irish government bonds.
European Head of Rates Securities at the firm Carl Norrey said: 'The addition of Ireland to our existing suite of primary dealers within the Eurozone continues to enhance the firm's footprint as an all-round service provider to our investor and borrower clients alike.'
ISE's Director of Traded Markets, Development, Operations Brian Healy also welcomed the agreement by stating that JP Morgan's participation in the market was a 'positive development' in light of the organisation's strong global fixed income.
Financial firm JP Morgan was recently recognised as the best overall hedge fund administrator by HFMWeek magazine. The company offers a range of graduate schemes in areas such as investment banking, asset management, technology, risk, finance and business services.
