BAE Systems looking to expand in Japan
BAE Systems is looking into the possibility of expanding its operations in Japan, it has been reported.
Currently, the company has increased its industrial presence in Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, the UK and the US, reports Jane's Defence Business News.
In recent months, BAE Systems has begun expanding in India as the country emerges as a significant military spender.
A Spokesman for the firm commented: 'Developing the company's domestic presence in Japan, to include development and manufacturing, is something worth exploring.'
Among the opportunities open to BAE Systems within the Japanese defence market is the possible sale of the Eurofighter Typhoon.
BAE Systems is a graduate job provider with major operations across five continents and has customers and partners in more than 100 countries.
With more then 105,000 highly skilled employees, the company is the third-largest defence business in the world.
