Training to be a fund manager
Trainee fund managers may study the UK Society of Investment Professionals’ Investment Management Certificate before progressing to the CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst programme.
Salaries
Salaries in London start at £30,000. This is lower than other areas of investment banking but working hours are more sociable. Experienced fund managers can earn anything up to £100,000+.
