Training to be a market research executive
It is usual to train on the job. Some trainees attend short courses run by the Market Research Society. Some study for the Society’s diploma, which may improve career prospects.
Salaries
Starting salaries range from £18,000 to £23,000. Profit-sharing and/or bonus schemes are common. Experienced executives can earn around £30,000 and managers over £40,000.
