What strategic consultants do

  • specify an organisation’s objectives, develop policies and plans to achieve these objectives, and allocate resources to implement the plans
  • carry out an internal and external situation analysis
  • establish a chain of command or an alternative structure
  • assign responsibility for specific tasks or processes to individuals or teams
  • monitor results, evaluate the efficiency of the process and make adjustments as necessary.
